MECA’s Sewing Stories project runs every week during secondary school semesters. The project aims to bring together women from different cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds through sewing.
Within the sewing stories, program women are provided with a safe space and an environment in which to learn new skills, have morning tea and share conversations about their own culture, their lives in Australia, and connect with others.
